Intuitive eating sounds way more complicated than it actually is. The irony is, we need a phrase like this, along with countless books, podcasts and other resources teaching people stuff that we came out of the womb knowing…
At it’s premise? Intuitive eating is listening to your body.
Listen when you’re hungry. Listen when you’re full. As babies, we did just that. We were hungry – we let somebody know about it! And when we were satisfied, we stopped. Of course, there’s so much more to it than just food – because intuition is about being in touch with every aspect of your body – not just what you feed it.
I hope today’s video gives you an insight into the general consensus of intuitive eating – along with my personal insights and what I think about it, based on my experience of learning to listen to my body in the past 6-12 months. It’s all a learning process, so I hope you take something away from this video and feel inspired to listen to YOUR body too.
