Baby Shower Brunch at Tea Hive, Chorlton

Today’s post is something a little different – but an event I wanted to share nonetheless.

I’m all about celebrating friendships and life, so it seemed apt to organise my lovely friend Holly’s baby shower over the past few months. It was my first time organising anything like that, and I was so nervous to make sure Holly and everyone else enjoyed themselves. Luckily, some of the other WeBlog girls teamed up with me, as I couldn’t have done it without them!

We went for a casual brunch setup, which is perfect for a bunch of bloggers (avo on toast anyone?) and Tea Hive in Chorlton was the ideal venue. Cosy, mismatched chairs, a relaxed atmosphere and really pretty tea room interiors. Think Alice in Wonderland with a Mancunian twist, as loads of the decor is bee themed!

The morning was so lovely – yummy brunch food, catching up with everyone before Holly begins her maternity leave and having a laugh! I’m really glad we went with the ‘Who knows Mummy best?’ Game – it was really quick and easy to do but hilarious – I’m not competitive, but being Holly’s work wife, I was pretty determined so glad I won. ????

Hey Little Cupcake gifted us their beautiful baby cupcakes – they taste as good as they look! Pretty pastel buttercream and glitter – what more do you need for a girly brunch?! Really love how they created a gender-neutral colour palette for us as well, seeing as baby’s sex is a surprise. ???? They went down such a treat.

We also treated Holly to a few goodies from Acorn and Pip, and a gorgeous Spring bouquet from Blossom in Chorlton. Oh, and chocolate and Prosecco – because mama’s gonna need those once baby number 2 has arrived!

Huge thanks to Georgie, Ellie, Danielle and all the WeBlog girls for helping organise everything – we pulled it off I think. ????

Have you had a celebration with friends recently? I’d love to hear about it and see pictures!

Love & Good Vibes
